Billed as the "boho king" by those in the know, top designer Matthew Williamson is to help women get the look by joining forces with H&M.Matthew's first women's wear collection for the high street chain will be launched in spring, followed by another range for the summer months.His summer collection will also include garments for men, to be unveiled in mid-May 2009.Margareta van den Bosch, H&M's creative advisor, comments: "Matthew has such a good eye and a way for working with prints that he mixes up in a new way. "When he combines these things, you get a very contemporary London look."In 2004, Matthew won Elle Designer of the Year and was then awarded with the accolade of Moet and Chandon Fashion Tribute a year later.His tenth year in the business was marked by an appearance at London Fashion Week and a display dedicated to the designer at the capital's Design Museum.(c) 2007 Adfero Ltd.
