Women need to pick up some leopard print fashion accessories if they want to stay on trend for autumn and winter, according to an expert.

Hannah Betts, writing for the Telegraph, said that the pattern has become a "contemporary classic", with the likes of Louis Vuitton bringing the style right up to date.

However, ladies need to make sure they are cautious when incorporating the print into their outfits and watch that they do not overdo it, she warned,

"You do have to be very careful and use it in moderation, especially if you're blonde - it's easier to get away with as a brunette," Lorraine Candy, editor of Elle, told the newspaper.

Fashion accessories are the best way to go to add a splash of leopard pattern into a look for those who are less daring, Ms Betts suggested.

Style guru Gok Wan recently told the Mirror that fashion accessories and fake tan products are the best way to glam up an outfit this autumn and winter.
