   Latest beauty trends help London Fashion Week to reach £100m revenue
   
 

Sales at London Fashion Week are set to top £100 million as attendees seek to emulate the latest celebrity looks and follow new beauty trends.

The British Fashion Council revealed that revenue is likely to be 40 per cent higher this year than in 2008 as buyers from all over the world flock to the capital, ThisIsLondon.co.uk reported.

Sienna Miller has been among those in attendance, as the trendsetter's sister is a designer, and it is likely that she picked up some tips for heading into the autumn season.

Boris Johnson, mayor of London, recently commented: "What sets London Fashion Week apart is its wit and energy, as well as its sophistication. I'm committed to the capital remaining at the forefront as one of the world's greatest cities for fashion."
