Posted by Abi RedecenThere are some items that every woman needs in her wardrobe, including a little black dress (LBD) and classic stilettos, according to a new list.The Timeless 50, voted for by the public, includes some essential fashion items, from the classic party dress to diamond stud earrings.Other items which made the cut include ballet pumps and a pearl necklace, to finish off any outfit well.According to the list, the perfect timeless outfit would consist of skinny jeans, a white, long-sleeved shirt and a trench coat.The ranking, which was sponsored by Volkswagen, saw Marie Claire, BBC Good Food, Livingetc, LOVEFILM and Heart FM collaborate to select the initial items.From this list the public then voted for the final 50 items, of which Volkswagen said: "Some, like the little black dress, Michael Jackson's Thriller or the Eames-style chair, were never in doubt.
