A few hair products are all it takes to get the latest trend that has been seen on the catwalks recently, the "2 in 1" style.

Designers such as Alexander Wang have showcased the do, which involves a wet-look style on top with the rest of the hair left dry in a loose ponytail.

Laura Terry, writing for Female First, explains how women can emulate the style at home, highlighting its versatility, as it can be worn during the day or at night.

"The wet effect can be created by spraying hairspray into the roots, so that your hair is really damp, and then style from there using the texture to create a firm base," she says.

Next, ladies should dry their tresses with a diffuser so that it looks "rock hard" and really shiny, Ms Terry recommends.

Finally, they should comb the hair and secure it in a ponytail.

Another style to re-emerge recently is the bun, which is back thanks to the likes of Christian Lacroix, who used the look in his latest catwalk shows.
