   Glamorous Kate tops celebrity looks poll
   
 

Kate Winslet has proved once again that she knows how to impress when it comes to celebrity looks, as she has been named the Most Glamorous Woman of 2009.

Readers of Glamour magazine voted the Oscar-winning English actress top of the list of 50 gorgeous girls.

The magazine said: "Winslet wowed us during awards season in curve-hugging, body-proud designs from Yves Saint Laurent, Narciso Rodriguez and Balmain. Here's to everyone's favourite girl crush!"

Anne Hathaway came second in the poll, with designer Issac Mizrahi describing The Devil Wears Prada star as "the prettiest girl in Hollywood" in terms of Audrey Hepburn-style glamour.

Coming in third was a new entry for the annual list, the First Lady Michelle Obama, who was lauded for her intelligence, self-assuredness and chic taste.

Last month, Angelina Jolie was voted the most beautiful woman in the world in an online poll by Vanity Fair magazine.
