Fashion accessories, hippie chic and plaits are among the spring trends for hair, with celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz sporting these looks.

According to Marie Claire, glamorous fashion accessories to adorn locks are "all the rage" this season and for inspiration, ladies should look to Nicole Richie, who recently perfected this look with a gold hair "necklace".

Jennifer Aniston is the latest A-lister to sport the braided look, wearing a plait at the front of her hair, although the style can be weaved into buns, worn low or high.

Marie Claire says braids are a "pretty touch and a great way of adding a fresh spring take to your tresses".

The natural look with a defined finish is also in for spring, giving a glamorous edge to hippie chic, and this style was demonstrated by Cameron Diaz at the Golden Globes earlier this year, whose stylist used mousse and a medium-sized curling tong.

Luxe curls are also dominating catwalks this season, with Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared and Proenza Schouler's models sporting the style.
