   Dannii Minogue wins award for celebrity looks

There has been a battle of the celebrity looks taking place on a Saturday night but Dannii Minogue has stolen a march on fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, pipping her to Ultimate TV Personality of the Year.

The singer and mentor was honoured at the annual Cosmopolitan awards which were hosted by Fearne Cotton at Banqueting House in London's Whitehall last night (November 11th).

Ms Minogue credited her boyfriend Kris Smith with helping her to success.

''When you're having a good time both at work and in your love life, I guess it shows on your face," she said.

Kimberley Walsh showed that she is following in Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl's footsteps when it comes to celebrity looks, picking up the Ultimate Woman's Woman award.

This year, Cheryl topped Tatler magazine's best dressed list, with a spokesperson for the magazine saying that the world had gone "completely insane" for the star.
