Cheryl has proved she is out in front when it comes to celebrity looks, winning two awards for best dressed woman of the year and style icon of the decade.The Girls Aloud star was voted ahead of US first lady Michelle Obama and French president Nicolas Sarkozy's wife Carla Bruni in The Style Network's survey of 3,000 women aged 20 to 60, who deemed her their fashion idol of the last ten years.Glamour magazine named the singer-turned-X Factor-judge best dressed woman of 2009 over Kate Moss.Also making the top ten were Victoria Beckham, TV presenter Alexa Chung, Gossip Girl Blake Lively, singer Katy Perry, model Agyness Deyn, Katie Holmes, pop star Rihanna and actress Rachel Bilson.It is the latest in a string of style accolades for Cheryl, who was also named best dressed woman for 2009 by Tatler magazine last month.A spokesperson for the publication said: "The world has gone completely insane for our Cheryl."(c) 2008 Adfero Ltd.
