Cheryl Cole has ended the year with a hat-trick of awards, proving when it comes to celebrity looks, she is right on the mark.

She has been named Beauty Icon of the Year, Heat magazine's fittest British female celebrity body and coolest celebrity on the planet in a poll by social networking website Bebo.

The awards round off a great year for the 25-year-old Girls Aloud star, who led Alexandra Burke to victory in her first series on the X Factor.

Cheryl beat Emma Watson and Alexa Chung to take the coolest celebrity prize, and came second overall in the fittest body survey behind American actress Jessica Alba and landing the British top spot.

Earlier in the year, she claimed the award for Britain's favourite hair in a poll by Trevor Sorbie, ahead of Victoria Beckham.

Girls Aloud's popularity was sealed with a primetime TV spot this Christmas as they hosted their own hour-long party special and the group head out on tour next year across Britain.
