Nude colours and barely-there make-up continue to be the big trend among celebrity looks as Angelina Jolie strolled onto the Cannes red carpet yesterday (May 20th) in a pale gown.The actress was supporting partner Brad Pitt, whose film Inglourious Basterds is up for the prestigious Palme D'Or prize at the festival.She wore a floor-length tea rose Versace dress, teaming it with subtle make-up and statement red lips.Angelina finished the style with natural-looking hair, teased into waves and draped over one shoulder.The pair joined the director of the World War II film, Quentin Tarantino, and Brad's co-star Diane Kruger."It's great fun to be here, especially with Quentin and this lovely lady," said the 45-year-old actor as he took Angelina's arm.She added that it was "wonderful" to be in the French Riviera.Other films up for the Palme D'Or include Bright Star, about the love affair between John Keats and Fanny Brawne, Andrea Arnold's Fish Tank and Taking Woodstock, directed by Oscar winner Ang Lee.(c) 2008 Adfero Ltd.
