Patrick Dempsey has added another scent to Avon's range of celebrity fragrances with his new aftershave, 2.

The Grey's Anatomy star, who already has another best-selling Avon scent to his name, Unscripted, said his new fragrance reflects the closeness of a couple, with mandarin, nutmeg, spiced wood accord and patchouli aromas.

"It's about the intimacy of two people and the strength you get in a relationship. I thought, why don't we just go with 2 and make this about being a couple," he said.

The star will appear alongside his wife, Jillian, who is Avon's global creative colour director, in an advert for the scent to reinforce the message of intimacy.

His fragrance will be available to buy from November and the 43-year-old actor promises that the "affordable" price tag will also attract men.

Meanwhile, Avon's global representative Reese Witherspoon has also added to the company's range of celebrity fragrances with her first signature scent, In Bloom.
