As head of the leading beauty company selling direct to women, Anna has a unique insight into the needs and aspirations of women today. Avon offers women an unrivalled opportunities through developing new skills and boosting their confidence which in turn has the power to significantly enhance their lives.
Having brought up her family in Italy while juggling the demands of various senior management and executive roles, she knows first hand the pleasure and satisfaction that comes from a job well done. She will use all this experience as a judge for Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund.
Anna said: "We know that given the right support, women have the ability and resources inside themselves to make a real difference at home, at work, as volunteers, friends and confidontes and this Fund could open up all kinds of possibilities." Alastair was born and raised in Northamptonshire. His team are responsible for all the financial planning, reporting, analysis and control in Avon, so Alastair is keen to have a say on where Avon’s charitable funds go!
Alastair said “I am delighted to be involved with Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund. It’s great that we can give something back to the local community by supporting organisations that work so hard to improve the lives of women.” Allyson is responsible for over 300 people working for Avon in Northamptonshire and combines her demanding job with her busy family life, having recently returned to work from maternity leave. As a judge for Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund she is looking for ‘challenging and achievable’ projects in the local community.
Allyson said: “This is such a great chance for local community groups to apply for support. I am sure that there hundreds of great projects throughout the country just waiting for an opportunity like this to give them a boost and I'm really looking forward to helping them to support other women." |
