In order to be eligible to apply for a Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund award you must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident in the UK or an organisation established in the UK (any limited company or charity must be incorporated and registered in the UK). Applications from any organisations must be made by an authorised representative of the organisation. Applications from employees of Avon or any agency associated with this incentive and any immediate family member of any employees of the aforementioned are not eligible for this incentive. Avon Representatives are eligible to submit an application but the program or project must benefit the broader community as outlined in the selection criteria and not be intended to enhance an Avon Representative’s business or Avon.
Applicants must submit a completed application for Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund award in accordance with these terms and conditions. The closing date for the award for each month is set out in the award schedule. Late applications will be included for consideration for the following month. Only one application per individual and/or organisation per month. Only one award may be won by a winner during the 12 months of the incentive and a winner will not be eligible to submit a further application. Avon does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, incomplete or illegible applications for any reason whatsoever. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
The application must demonstrate how the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund award selection criteria is met and how the award will be utilised.
The applications will be judged on the following criteria and decisions will be based on how well the written application demonstrates these criteria:
Your deep commitment to empowering and improving the lives of women (of any age) in Northamptonshire.
A clear and compelling case for support.
A solid and realistic time and cost plan for spending the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund award and any additional funds will be raided, if needed, to achieve your application’s stated goal.
Concrete and achievable outcomes.
How the award will actually empower women and improve the lives of women in Northamptonshire.
The application must demonstrate that the award will benefit individuals beyond the applicant and their immediate family members.
The Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund will each month award up to £1,000, to either one or several winners. The incentive will run for 12 months commencing in March 2009.
The winners will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of Anna Segatti, Alastair Judge and Allyson Russell. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be notified each month in accordance with the awards schedule prior to the announcement being made public and they will also be profiled on the Avon website at www.avon.co.uk and via such other media as Avon deems appropriate.
The awards will be presented by cheques payable to the successful individual or organisation. The awards are non-transferrable and must be used for the purpose(s) specified in the winner’s application and cannot be deferred. If the award is used for a purpose other than as stated in the winner’s application they may be required to return the award in its entirety to Avon.
In the event of any fraudulent activity the award will be forfeited and Avon reserves the right, in its complete discretion, to select a further winner to receive such forfeited award.
Avon reserves the right to require updates and progress together with supporting information on the purposes stated in the winner’s application.
The winners agree to participate in all promotional activity in connection with the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Funds and agree to disclosure of their names and the purposes for which they intend to use the award.
Submission of an application form signifies acceptance and compliance of the terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. All applications will become the property of Avon Cosmetics Limited and will not be returned.
All applicants acknowledge that, in the course of applying for a Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund award, certain information about them will be captured, electronically or otherwise, and will be transmitted to Avon and third parties associated with the incentive. Accordingly, the applicants expressly agree to the transfer of such personal information to Avon and Avon’s third party agents associated with the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund and that Avon (the data controller) and any third party associated with the incentive may use, store, process and transfer that information for the purpose of the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund. All applicants further agree that Avon may send their personal information outside of the European Economic Area including to the United States of America, for processing for the purpose of the Avon’s Northamptonshire Women’s Fund.
