The Avon Hello Tomorrow Fund is an Avon initiative, with the goal to empower women and improve society by providing individuals and/or organisations with cash awards. These cash awards will allow the winners to pursue a project or programme which will directly improve the lives of women.
Avon is donating a total of four awards 2 of £5,000 and 2 of £10,000 to the four applicants who have in the judges view the strongest vision of improving women's lives in the UK. Award recipients will be short-listed by an expert panel of judges which consists of Anna Segatti, President of Avon UK, Jo Elvin, GLAMOUR Editor, Karren Brady, leading business entrepreneur, Claudia Winkleman, TV presenter through a competitive process and against the selection criteria.
The short-listed applicants selected by the judges (7 in total) will be entered into a public on-line voting poll. The on-line voting will run 15th July to 12th August 2010, during which time anyone can vote on their favourite entry at avon.uk.com.
The winners will be announced in the November issue of Glamour magazine (published 7th October) and they will also be profiled on the Avon website to coincide with Glamour publication.
