Customer Competition Campaign 4 2014
Terms & Conditions
  1. This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years & over excluding Avon employees, temporary workers, agency staff, contractors or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
  2. The competition opens on 23rd December 2013 and closes at 23.59 on 30th May 2014.
  3. Entries received after midnight on 30th May 2014 will not be valid and will therefore be excluded from the competition.
  4. For every unit of Ultra Colour Lip Crayon (all shades), Ultra Color Absolute Lipstick (all shades), Extra Lasting Lipstick (all shades) and Ultra Colour Lipstick (all shades) you order in Brochure 4 2014, you will receive x1 Golden Ticket with a Unique Reference Number ("URN") on it with your Brochure 4 2014 order.
  5. In order to determine if you have won a prize, you will need to go online to www.avon.uk.com/goldenticket, enter the unique code from the Golden Ticket. This unique code can only be entered once. The individual promotional code will become invalid when entered once by a customer.
  6. Once the code has been entered you will then be shown which reward you have won.
  7. Rewards that consist of an activity require a voucher to be downloaded and printed by the customer. Where a customer does not have access to a printer, they may request that the voucher is posted to their chosen address. Please see website for further details.
  8. Activity-based Rewards must be booked in advance by the Customer stating that it is an Avon Golden Ticket Voucher. All participating Customers need to be in possession of a valid voucher, and all additional non-voucher holding individuals accompanying any voucher-holding Customers must pay the full admittance price for the activity.
  9. Group bookings and multiple redemptions are taken entirely at the Reward Providers' discretion. Customers should check with the Reward Partner when booking their activity Reward, and the Reward Partner's decision will be final. The Promoter is not responsible for such discretion and cannot be held liable for such instance. Customers must present their voucher upon their arrival at the Reward Partner's venue.
  10. More than one URN per customer may be entered, thus increasing the chances of winning a prize but only one entry per game card.

  13. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of a 'script', 'macro', 'brute force' or any other automated means, that person's entries will be disqualified and any allocated prize will be void. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion disqualify any entries which it feels do not comply with these terms and conditions or where bad faith is suspected.
  14. The name of the Winner for the Promotion will be available upon request for 4 weeks after the Winner has been notified by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to; Avon Golden Ticket Promotion, Grass Roots UK Limited, Pennyroyal Court, Station Road, Tring, Hertforshire, HP23 5QY.

  17. The promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with the claiming of the rewards. This includes but is not limited to travel, spending money, and expenses.
  18. There is no cash or other alternative to the stated prizes, in whole or in part. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners. The Promotor reserves the right to change or provide a similar alternative prize of the same or greater value or specification should circumstances beyond their control make this necessary.
  19. Reward Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or voucher, and cannot be applied to bookings previously made.

  21. Prizes will be dispatched within 28 days from date the Promoter completes the verification process to the address provided at the time of entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for delays by the postal services, for incorrect details being provided by the winner or for any other unforeseen circumstances that may delay delivery.
  22. A Customer agrees to allow the Promoter to pass on relevant details to Reward Providers only for the fulfilment of Rewards under the Promotion.
  23. The personal details of Customers will be retained solely for the purpose of operating the Promotion, unless Customers are requested to and give permission for the Promoter to use such details for future marketing purposes. Data collected and held by the Promoter is done so in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. The promoter will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  24. The Promoter shall have no liability for the acts or omissions of the Reward Provider other than any refusal by a Reward Provider to accept a Reward in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to it.
  25. Avon reserves the right to substitute the prizes offered (such prizes will be of equal or greater value) and/or alter the competition in any way, including cancelling or withdrawing the competition altogether.
  26. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. By taking part in this competition, entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. Non-compliance may render your entry/prize void.
  27. Avon does not accept any responsibility for late or lost Golden Tickets. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt. Golden Tickets will be declared void if found to be forged, altered or tampered with in any way.
  28. Winners will be required to participate in any subsequent publicity as deemed appropriate by Avon.
  29. All applicants acknowledge that, in the course of applying for this competition, certain information about them will be captured, electronically or otherwise, and will be transmitted to Avon and third parties associated with the competition. Accordingly, the applicant's expressly agree to the transfer of such personal information to Avon and Avon's third party agents associated with this competition and that Avon (data controller) and any third party associated with the competition may use, store, process and transfer that information for the purpose of the competition. All applicants further agree that Avon may send their personal information outside of the European Economic Area including to the United States of America, for processing for the purposes of the competition.
